Amaircare Chem Bio Airwash System
Designed to handle the new Chemical and Biological dangers. The Chembio Airwash downdraft HEPA sorting station for use in secured rooms in conjunction with proper masks and gloves for maximum protection from possible threats.
The ChemBio Airwash is a HEPA filtration system that creates a down-flow of air on a sorting surface, that leads directly into two HEPA filters. There are possible particulate hazards such as Chemicals or Bio-Matter are forced into the HEPA filter. Each filter contains 100 ft of HEPA paper for maximum airflow. The clean air out can be ducted to create a negative pressure in the room (so any contaminates that do end up in the room, stay there to be drawn into the ChemBio Airwash).
For maximum protection, items should be directed to a sealed room with a ChemBio Airwash system in use. Latex gloves and appropriate masking should be used by the operator. Any items would be inspected and/or opened directly on the ChemBio Airwash’s downdraft HEPA sorting surface.
Using Amaircare®’s Dual-HEPA design, they each employ two high-efficiency motor/fans and up to 200 sq. ft. of HEPA for 99.97% removal efficiency of particulates 0.3 microns and larger. A variety of available V.O.C. (Volatile Organic Compound) filters for removal of chemicals gases are also employed.

How the Airwash™ works
Amaircare central systems operate on a by-pass system. A portion of the home’s return air is routed through the air filtration system before it reaches the furnace or air handling system.This rerouted air is cleaned and fed back into the home’s air supply via the furnace. The Model 6000V employs Amaircare®’s three-stage filtration process. Customizable Installations
To suit the available space,Amaircare central systems can be installed freestanding or adapted to hang from a wall or ceiling. They can also be ducted to an HRV to filter the supplied outdoor air.
The Amaircare 7500 operates on a by-pass system. A portion of the home’s return air is routed through the air filtration system before it reaches the furnace.This rerouted air is cleaned and fed back into the home’s air supply. By continuously cleaning the air, significant reduction in pollution results. The 7500 is also suitable for creating ‘clean room’ quality air by installing the unit into a sealed room as shown. Creating a negative pressure is the ideal situation for ‘clean room’ applications but is not essential. To replace all of the air taken from the ‘clean room’, install both returns into the room.
