Higher air flow rate
The airflow rate is higher since there is no gas filtration in this device. A gas filter would reduce the air flow rate and add to filter replacement costs and it does not provide any infection control benefits. High air delivery rates are also important to achieve high air changes per hour (ACH) and when the system is used to create negative/positive pressure differences (e.g. for isolation purposes).

Professional Control Airborne Particulates
The IQAir® Cleanroom Series has been designed specifically for the removal of airborne particles. The systems feature the highest air delivery and longest filter life of any IQAir particle filter system. To allow for maximum air delivery the systems contain no gas phase filtration. The Cleanroom Series provides a choice of 2 models, each with a specific filter efficiency and air delivery profile. While healthcare facilities may require higher air delivery to achieve optimum control of microorganisms (e.g. in ICUs or TB isolation rooms), a cleanroom facility may need a filtration efficiency of 99.97% to meet strict manufacturing regulations or standards.
Positive and Negative Pressure Environments
Each IQAir® Cleanroom system can be used as a recirculation device or it can be combined with IQAir's ducting adapters InFlow W125 or OutFlow W125 to create positive and negative pressure environments. The creation of negative pressure helps to contain harmful particles, such as microorganisms, in a particular area (e.g. TB isolation).
The creation of positive pressure helps to protect clean areas from contaminants entering from adjacent rooms (e.g. protective isolation of immuno-compromised patients, controlled environments for medical device manufacturing).
Decentralised Airborne Infection Control in Health-Care Facilities
Airborne pathogens in health-care environments pose a particular risk to immunocompromised patients who may inhale fungal spores, bacteria and viruses. Airborne microorganisms can not only complicate recovery from surgery, but can also lead to life-threatening infections,costing health-care services hundreds of millions every year.
Hospital-acquired aspergillosis for example has been recognised increasingly as a cause of severe illness and high mortality in immunocompromised individuals, e.g. patients undergoing chemotherapy and/or organ or bone marrow transplants. In the light of the marked increase in nosocomial infections over recent years, many of which are caused by drug-resistant pathogens, the importance of using high-efficiency air filtration systems beyond the confines of so-called “critical areas” (such as operation theatres) has once again been emphasised. Both the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), advise that, wherever possible, preventive infection control measures should be implemented to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections.

Amaircare Chem Bio Airwash System
Designed to handle the new Chemical and Biological dangers. The Chembio Airwash downdraft HEPA sorting station for use in secured rooms in conjunction with proper masks and gloves for maximum protection from possible threats.
The ChemBio Airwash is a HEPA filtration system that creates a down-flow of air on a sorting surface, that leads directly into two HEPA filters. There are possible particulate hazards such as Chemicals or Bio-Matter are forced into the HEPA filter. Each filter contains 100 ft of HEPA paper for maximum airflow. The clean air out can be ducted to create a negative pressure in the room (so any contaminates that do end up in the room, stay there to be drawn into the ChemBio Airwash).
For maximum protection, items should be directed to a sealed room with a ChemBio Airwash system in use. Latex gloves and appropriate masking should be used by the operator. Any items would be inspected and/or opened directly on the ChemBio Airwash’s downdraft HEPA sorting surface.
Using Amaircare®’s Dual-HEPA design, they each employ two high-efficiency motor/fans and up to 200 sq. ft. of HEPA for 99.97% removal efficiency of particulates 0.3 microns and larger. A variety of available V.O.C. (Volatile Organic Compound) filters for removal of chemicals gases are also employed.

Allerair 9175 Dental Sanitizer
An air purifier specially designed for stationery applications where it is important to capture and retain airborne chemicals, vapors and odors from daily dental procedures.
Filtration system is conceived around a main, 40 lbs activated carbon filter for adsorbing chemicals such as glutaraldehyde used while developing x-rays and a 2" deep true HEPA filter intended to trap 99.98% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.
